Camp Community Arts

Immerse your child in the arts during their seasonal breaks! Professional teaching artists emphasize a process-oriented approach. Camp counselors accompany students throughout the day to provide additional support.

Our camps offer:

  • Programming for students:
    • Ages 4-5 years at Civic Park Preschool (1395 Civic Drive)
      • Summer Camp Only
    • Ages 6-18 years at Center for Community Arts - Shadelands (111 N Wiget Ln)
  • Year round programming during school breaks
  • Half-day and full-day options
  • Visual arts learning in painting, drawing, clay, fiber arts, and printmaking
  • Performing arts opportunities in theater, dance, music, voice
  • Digital Media courses

What makes Camp Community Arts unique?

Our teaching artists are all working professionals who emphasize a process-oriented approach. By giving students opportunities to experiment and follow their curiosity, our open-ended, guided curriculum develops higher-level creative thinking, problem-solving and innovation, all critical skills for 21st learners.

Fall Camp Workshops 2024

  • Registration opens Wednesday, August 7 at 12pm
  • Occurring Monday, November 25, 2024 through Tuesday, November 26, 2024
  • All workshops will occur from 9am-12:15pm

  • Spring Camps 2025 will be on view online October 3, 2024
  • Registration will open November 20, 2024 at 12pm 
  • Spring camp will run 1-week Monday, March 31, 2025 through Friday, April 4, 2025
