Join our group of dynamic young musicians! We play classical pieces that are never boring, and we also play popular music. Whether you want to play in an ensemble, try a solo, or compose your own music, there is a place here for you to shine. You don't need to audition, and enrollment is open year round.

School-Year Program

Our school-year program runs September to May. If you are in grade school and have been taking lessons for over a year, you can start in our Intermediate Community Arts Youth Orchestra. You’ll improve your technique and music reading skills with this group. You will also explore orchestral repertoire and chamber music. If you’re in middle school or high school and have been playing for a couple years, you’re ready to join our Advanced Community Arts Youth Orchestra. Both orchestras will participate in performances in the fall and spring quarters. The advanced group will accompany well-known guest artists.

Summer Program

Our summer program runs mid-June to early August and requires the same prior experience as our school year program.
