Music Studio Rentals

Music Studio Spaces 

Community Arts has three private music studios that are available for rentals: 

Music Studio 1 (previously Music Studio 5)

Studio space includes an upright piano. Studio 1 is located across the parking lot in our annex building.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Music Studio 2 (previously Music Studio 4)

Studio space includes a baby grand piano. Studio 2 is located in the main building at Shadelands Art Center.

 

 

Music Studio 3 (previously Music Studio 2)

Studio space includes an upright piano. Studio 3 is located in the main building at Shadelands Art Center. 

Requesting Studio Space

Music instructors will need to have an account in Xplore Rec (our class registration system) to make a request. If you do not have an account, please create an account following the directions on the log-in screen.

Click on this link to begin requesting music studio space. 

1. Skip the first section of the page (Search facilities, date, and nights)
2. Scroll down to Room Rentals
3. Select the desired music studio space
4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page 
5. Complete the Activity and Duration section (number of hours requesting)
6. Complete the number of people to attend (please select 1 for 1 student)*
7. Select the day and time that you would like to request

Music studio spaces can be requested for a max of 4 consecutive hours. Additional requests can be made if studio space is needed for more than 4 hours. If you would like to book multiple days and times throughout the week, please submit each request separately. 

Payment for rental spaces is due at the time that requests are made at the general rental rate.

Approvals, Payments & Rates

Rental Approvals 

After submitting a rental request, you will receive an email confirming your request has been received. Please note that this is NOT a confirmation that your rental request has been approved. This email confirms that your request has been submitted to our admin team for approval. 

Requests for rental spaces will be reviewed by Community Arts. Community Arts will approve requests based on availability. Instructors will receive an email confirmation and contract once your request has been approved. 

Payments

Payment will be due at the time that your rental request is submitted. Rental rates will default to the general room rental rate. Current instructors will receive an adjustment to your account with the “instructor rate” once the request has been approved.

Current instructors are defined as instructors that are currently teaching a Community Arts quarterly class. If the current quarter is not in session at the time of your request, admin staff will use the instructor’s teaching status of the previous quarter. Instructors that teach a workshop do not qualify as a current instructor.

Studio Rental Rates (as of 8/1/24)

Community Arts Instructors - $11.50/hour

General rental rate - $13.50/hour

Late reservations (reserved within 7 days or less) - $14.50/hour

*Please note that the late reservation rate applies to both current instructors and general renters. 

Rental Cancellations

Private music rentals can be booked up to 30 days in advance. Private music rentals are non-refundable. A one-time courtesy adjustment can be made to your rental booking within the 60-day period, if space allows.
